Angel Reese Doubles Down After Met Gala Drama

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese had some time for her critics on Tuesday night following her team's near 50-point destruction of the New York Liberty.

Reese dropped 13 points to go along with five rebounds, two steals and an assist during Chicago's 101-53 victory over the Liberty. Immediately after the game she took to social media with a message for those who complained that she attended the Met Gala on Monday night - 24 hours before her game.

She retweeted a message calling out her haters.

"Delete all y'all drafts about Angel Reese that said 'she's gonna get cooked tonight and should've been in practice longer instead of the Met'. My sis made y'all haters look silly tonight," the tweet read.

She later tweeted a message of her own: "maximize them 24hrs."

Fast forward to Wednesday morning and she wasn't quite done letting her critics know what she thinks of them. In another post on social media, the former LSU Tigers star made it clear she can do anything thanks to her faith.

After stunning on the red carpet at the Met Gala and them dominating on the court against New York it would be tough to argue with her.
