Jemele Hill went in on Michigan fans on Thursday night.

Hill, a Michigan State alum, doesn't like how Michigan fans who didn't attend the school talk up its academics. She thinks it's a bit lame.

"Hence why we coined the term 'Walmart Wolverines.' I don't necessarily care if you're a Michigan fan and didn't go there. I do find it pretty comical when some Michigan fans who didn't go there want to argue about the school's academics … like they actually went there or could get in," Hill tweeted.

While Hill is speaking as a rival fan, Michigan has historically been harder to get into than Michigan State.

That said, it comes down to preference for people who want to attend Michigan or not. People can do what they want for the school of their choice.

Michigan and Michigan State have been a rivalry for a long time, and that will not change anytime soon, whether it's for sports or otherwise.

The two schools will meet on the football field again on Oct. 26 in Ann Arbor.
