This month, Caitlin Clark will make her much-anticipated WNBA regular season debut.

Clark looked quite at home in her first professional exhibition action last week, scoring 11 of the Indiana Fever's first 19 points and finishing with 21 for the night in 79-76 loss to the Dallas Wings. She'll have one more tune-up against the Atlanta Dream tomorrow before the games start to count for real.

As basketball fans, we're pumped to finally see Clark on the WNBA stage, and we'll be following her throughout the Fever's 40-game regular season and hopefully into the playoffs.

Looking ahead, there are a few regular season matchups that appear juicier than others, so here's the five Caitlin Clark games we're most looking forward to.

Vs. New York Liberty (May 16)

This will be Clark's second WNBA game after she and the Fever travel to the Connecticut Sun for the season opener on May 14. What makes this significant is that it'll be her first game in front of the Fever home crowd, who have gone out of their way to embrace the former Iowa star from the moment Indiana won the WNBA Draft lottery.

At New York Liberty (May 18)

A second game against the Liberty? Okay, maybe there's some New York/East Coast bias here, but we're talking about the WNBA runner-up and a franchise that's loaded with star power with Jonquel Jones, Sabrina Ionescu, Breanna Stewart, Courtney Vandersloot and more.

This will also be Clark's first time playing in New York, and like the song says, if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere.

At Las Vegas Aces (May 25)

Clark and the Fever vs. the defending WNBA champs. Las Vegas is stacked, led by superstar A'ja Wilson and the formidable backcourt of Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young. Former Iowa star Megan Gustafson and Clark's Hawkeye teammate Kate Martin are also on the Aces' camp roster, and it would be awesome if one or both are still around for this showdown.

Vs. Chicago Sky (June 1)

An old-fashioned Midwestern clash, this game will feature Clark renewing her college rivalry with Angel Reese. We're not sure if South Carolina alum Kamilla Cardoso, the No. 3 overall pick and MOP of the 2024 Women's Final Four, will be back from her shoulder injury by this point, but it would add another layer to this already-intriguing game if she were.

At Phoenix Mercury (June 30)

The first of two meetings between the Fever and Mercury, the temperature will surely be turned up for this one, pun intended. That's because we'll get to see Clark go head-to-head with the legendary Diana Taurasi, who famously (infamously?) warned the No. 1 overall pick that the transition to the professional level won't be an easy one.

Clark will have plenty of games under her belt by the time this matchup rolls around, and we can't wait for it.
