It’s working for them. There are all kinds of ways to present wrestlers and one of the most common over the years has been in a romance storyline. It can happen when some wrestlers show chemistry together and are linked together on television as a result. This is something that has worked for years in wrestling and it seems that we are seeing it again today.

Earlier this year, NXT’s Trick Williams had an in-ring meeting with Meta Four’s Lash Legend. The segment ended with Williams kissing Legend, who then became nervous around Williams in the following weeks. This week on NXT, Williams suggested that he and Legend were in a relationship, with Legend referring to him as “babe” before backtracking. There is no word on how strongly the two will be presented on television going forward.

They do have chemistry. Check out the two of them on camera together:

Opinion: This makes sense as the two of them have shown chemistry together on screen so putting them into a relationship is a good way to go. At the end of the day, sometimes the best solution is to just go with what is right in front of you and that is what WWE seems to be doing with the two of them. I’m not sure how long it is going to last, but we should be in for some interesting moments for the time being.
