Angel Reese is fired up to be a member of the Chicago Sky.

She was drafted by the Sky during the 2024 WNBA Draft on Monday night and is ready to get to work.

"CHI TOWN- THE BARBIE OTWWWW (on the way)," she tweeted.

Reese was picked seventh overall by the Sky after they took South Carolina's Kamilla Cardoso at third overall. Reese was one of the best players in the WNBA Draft after a tremendous collegiate career.

She started her career at Maryland and was with the program for two seasons before transferring to LSU for the final two seasons of her career.

Those last two seasons were the best of her career and saw her average at least 18 points and 13 rebounds per game. She helped LSU win a national title during the 2022-23 season before the program lost in the Elite Eight this past season.

Her best individual season was during the year when LSU won it all. She finished the season averaging 23 points and 15.4 rebounds per game.

She'll get her WNBA career started when the 2024 season starts on May. 14.
