Detroit set an NFL record on Thursday night.

Over 275,000 fans attended the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, which is a record. Fans will have the chance of setting the all-time NFL Draft attendance record over the next two days.

The city was ready for the NFL Draft and it more than delivered on Thursday night. Eminem got things started before NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell opened the draft and put the Chicago Bears on the clock.

Fans were also going crazy throughout the night, especially when the Lions traded up from No. 29 to No. 24. They traded up and took the Dallas Cowboys' spot before drafting cornerback Terrion Arnold.

Arnold is considered to be the top cornerback in the draft by a lot of draft pundits and will really help out their defense.

Their fans will go crazy again on Friday night when the Lions are on the clock with the No. 61 overall pick. It'll be in the second round.

The second round will get underway at 7 p.m. ET and will be followed by the third round.

ABC/ESPN and NFL Network will televise it.
