Everyone Loved Angel Reese's Message For Hailey Van Lith

Earlier Friday afternoon former LSU guard Hailey Van Lith finally confirmed she's transferring to TCU.

It didn't take long for Reese to hear from one of her former teammates. Former LSU star Angel Reese took to social media with a message for Van Lith before her new journey.

"Proud of you," Reese wrote on X. "You know what to do & you know I'm always rocking with you."

Fans flocked to social media to share their love of Reese's message for her former teammate.

"And this is how u protect women in sports. As always Angel stepping up for others," one fan said.

"Women supporting women," said another.

"she's so supportive i love her," offered a third.

Van Lith broke into the national spotlight when she helped lead the Louisville Cardinals to the Final Four and Elite Eight in back-to-back seasons. However, following that success she transferred to the reigning champion LSU Tigers - a move that backfired.

Van Lith averaged 19.7 points per game during her final season at Louisville, but managed just 11.6 points per game for the Tigers, who crashed out of the NCAA Tournament in the Elite Eight with a loss to Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Now Van Lith is heading to the TCU Horned Frogs for a fresh start.
