In April, Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum filed for divorce from NFL tight end Darren Waller. They got married on March 4, 2023.

Before that unfortunate news went public, Plum posted a very telling message on social media.

"I'm devastated," Plum wrote. "I walked through fire for that man, but now I see it's time to go. God has given me an incredible life, and I'm truly so grateful for the profound love from my family and friends, One day I'll share my story, today is not that day. Thank you for the grace to process my pain, to forgive and move forward. Today and everyday I will continue to choose joy. Much love KP."

With the WNBA season almost here, Plum was asked how she has become a stronger athlete. Not only did she answer that question, she shed light on her personal life.

"The offseason has been tough for me," Plum said, via Paloma Villicana. "I think everyone knows - it's pretty public. For me, I'm super grateful. I think my faith has grown tremendously. Not just that, but I know who I am. You kind of get refined by fire.

"I'm excited about this season. I'm excited about Las Vegas trying to run it back again. I know that our fans are with us. I know that this organization is with us."

Plum, a two-time WNBA champion, deserves a ton of credit for being so graceful with her response.

WNBA fans will get to see Plum in action on May 14 when the Aces take on the Mercury in their season opener.
