The New York Knicks got a massive Game 1 playoff win over the Philadelphia 76ers today with Jalen Brunson and (to the surprise of many) Josh Hart stepping and dominating Joel Embiid and co. But after the game, fans decided to run it back with a classic chant directed at their old playoff nemesis, Trae Young.

Following their 111-104 win over the Sixers, Knicks fans exiting Madison Square Garden en masse could be heart dropping F- bombs on Atlanta Hawks' point guard.

"(expletive) Trae Young! (expletive) Trae Young!(expletive) Trae Young!" they chanted for a good while.

Young became a supervillain in Knicks lore for his performance against the team during the 2021 Eastern Conference playoffs. He led the Hawks in scoring in all five of the game en route to a 4-1 series win.

Fans absolutely loved seeing that Knicks are still going after Young all of these years later:

"man is not even in the playoffs but still getting hit," one user joked.

"We're really never letting that go," joked another.

"That chant has transcended Trae young," a third wrote.

Some feel that the chant is getting a little bit old and that Young now lives rent-free in Knicks fans' heads.

Regardless, it's still very, very funny.
