Patrick Mahomes is absolutely loving the moves the Kansas City Chiefs are making this week.

During the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Chiefs traded up to select Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy. Earlier this year, he set the record for fastest time in the 40-yard dash.

In the second round, the Chiefs traded up to draft BYU offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia. Immediately after the move was made, Mahomes rushed to X to share his thoughts.

"I love Veach man," Mahomes wrote

Suamataia, who earned All-Big 12 honors last season, spoke to reporters about being teammates with Mahomes. It's safe to say he's a bit star-struck at the moment.

Suamataia also vowed to keep Mahomes upright this season, which is exactly what Chiefs fans want to hear.

If the Chiefs are going to successfully pull off a three-peat, they'll need Mahomes healthy and playing at an exceptional level.
