The New Orleans Saints made a new addition to their roster on Friday, bringing in a wide receiver with several years of NFL experience.

The team announced that it has signed Equanimeous St. Brown, older brother of Detroit Lions star Amon-Ra St. Brown.

St. Brown is a six-year NFL veteran who has played for the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears.

The Packers took him in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame, where he caught 92 passes for 1,484 yards and 13 touchdowns in 32 career games.

In the NFL, St. Brown has a total of 63 receptions for 928 yards and two touchdowns.

He had the best season of his career in 2022 with the Bears, starting in 16 games and catching 21 passes for 323 yards and a touchdown.

St. Brown is another addition to an offense that could look very different in New Orleans next season.

Michael Thomas is no longer with the team, opening opportunities for players that may have been overlooked early in their careers.

The Saints are looking to make it back to the postseason in 2024 after missing out for the third consecutive year in 2023.

The NFC South is one of the most unpredictable divisions in football, with teams routinely making runs at the playoffs despite poor finishes in the previous season.

We'll see if the Saints can make it back to the playoffs this season, and if St. Brown can play a part in helping them get there.
