Shedeur Sanders Ripped For 'Classless' Move After Loss To Nebraska

People Are Calling Deion Sanders To Step Down As Colorado's Coach (1:04)

Shedeur Sanders is taking heat for a "classless" move at the end of the Nebraska vs. Colorado game on Saturday evening.

Nebraska topped Colorado, 28-10, at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb. on Saturday evening. Sanders, one of the top quarterbacks in the country, faced serious pressure from Nebraska's front seven all game long. He was sacked several times and took some major blows to the head.

Late in the fourth quarter, Deion Sanders removed his son from the game. Shedeur Sanders then left the field before the game ended. He was seen walking into the locker room with less than one minute to play.

Many fans weren't happy with that, though.

College football fans took to social media to rip the move.

"Shedeur leaving his teammates before the end of the game is reflective of that Colorado team's culture. It's a joke," one fan wrote.

"Deion quitting on this 18-point game by pulling Shedeur with 4 minutes left and then Shedeur leaving the field at the 2 minute whistle is certainly something," one fan added.

"Shedeur sanders having his two camera guys follow him to the locker room while theirs still 2 minutes left in yhe Nebraska Colorado game is wild," one fan added.

"Sucks that Shedeur left before the game ended. CFB fans were waiting for his post game celebration," one fan joked.

Deion Sanders was asked about the decision following the game. He said that he believes his son is OK mentally and physically. But they wanted to be cautious and make sure he'll be OK for next week's game.

Colorado dropped to 1-1 on the season with the loss to Nebraska.
