The UConn Huskies completed one of the most impressive tournament runs of all time on Monday night by taking down Purdue in the national championship game.

UConn won every game in the tournament by at least 14 points, often using strong second-half performances to pull away from the opposition.

FOX Sports' Skip Bayless was impressed by what he saw from the Huskies over the last month, and he made a bold claim about this year's UConn team on Tuesday.

"This was the single most dominant college team in history," Bayless said on Tuesday's episode of Undisputed.

Bayless praised Dan Hurley's team for their dominance on both sides of the ball, making timely shots and playing great defense.

The numbers support Bayless' point, as UConn ended the 2024 tournament with the best point differential of any team in tournament history.

They were more dominant than some of the greatest teams in college basketball history, including 2009 North Carolina, 2023 Villanova and 1999 Duke.

The 2023 UConn team was dominant in its own right, coming in at No. 4 on the list with a +120 point differential.

This year's team took that to the next level with a +140, proving that they were in no danger of losing through any point in this year's event.

There's been a debate over UConn being one of the "blue blood" programs in college basketball.

The argument can't be made on the women's side after 11 national titles, but the men's team is carving out its own history with its sixth championship in 2024.

Dan Hurley has proven himself to be one of the best college basketball coaches in the country, and this win will only add to his legacy and the legacy of UConn Huskies basketball for years to come.
