A "tornado outbreak" is about to hit.

We've seen some terrifying tornados hitting part of the United States in recent weeks and, according to a report on Monday, more could be coming on Monday night.

According to tornado expert Reed Timmer, a "tornado outbreak" is likely to hit Oklahoma and Kansas.

"LIVE update from Woodward, OK area as supercells are erupting across western OK/KS. Tornado outbreak likely about to begin. Stay tuned to severe weather watches and warnings," he reported on Monday.

Stay safe out there, everyone.

According to ready.gov, here's how you should respond if you fear a tornado is coming:

If you are under a tornado warning, you should immediately go to a safe shelter, such as a basement, storm cellar, or safe room. You should stay away from windows, doors, and outside walls, and you should not go under a bridge or overpass. You are safer in a low, flat location. You should also watch out for flying debris that can cause injury or death, and you should use your arms to protect your head and neck

In 2011, a massive tornado hit parts of Alabama's campus in Tuscaloosa, causing damage to several buildings and stadiums, along with taking the lives of 64 people.

Take all the precautions you can, everyone.
