For the first time in Dodger Stadium history, the Dodgers hosted the New York Mets and Yankees in the same homestand. The off-Broadway shows, which ran from May 30 to June 5, represented a postseason rematch of the National League Championship Series and World Series.
The Dodgers finished with a 4–3 record. Los Angeles remained in first place in the National League West heading into a six-game road trip to St. Louis and San Diego.
The Dodgers split the four games with the Mets, thanks to a pair of come-from-behind victories: a 6–5 decision in 10 innings on Tuesday, and a 6–5 win on Thursday in which the Dodgers were trailing 4–0 in the third inning.
The Dodgers won two of three games against the Yankees, including an 18–2 victory on Saturday.
