2022 MLB Postseason: Bracket, Daily Schedule, Start Times And TV Channels

The final day of the 2022 MLB regular season arrived without the potential for drama as every playoff seed had already been determined. As part of the new collective bargaining agreement (CBA), the expanded postseason field now includes 12 teams, with the American League and National League having three Wild Card berths each. The top two seeds in both leagues receive first-round byes, with the remaining teams facing off in the new best-of-three Wild Card Series. Each game will be played at the home of the higher seed, and winners will advance to the Division Series. The Los Angeles Dodgers, behind a franchise-record 111 wins, were among the teams that earned a first-round bye. They will host the winner of the San Diego Padres and New York Mets matchup in Game 1 of the NLDS on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The Division Series and League Championship Series will be carried by FOX, FS1 and TBS. The World Series will exclusively be broadcast on FOX. 2022 MLB postseason schedule, start times and TV information Wild Card Series Friday, Oct. 7 Tampa Bay Rays at Cleveland Guardians, Game 1 – 9:07 a.m. PT (ESPN) Philadelphia Phillies at St. Louis Cardinals, Game 1 – 11:07 a.m. PT (ABC) Seattle Mariners at Toronto Blue Jays, Game 1 – 1:07 p.m. PT (ESPN) San Diego Padres at New York Mets, Game 1 – 5:07 p.m. PT (ESPN) Saturday, Oct. 8 Rays at Guardians, Game 2 – 9:07 a.m. PT (ESPN2) Mariners at Blue Jays, Game 2 – 1:07 p.m. PT (ESPN) Padres at Mets, Game 2 – 4:37 p.m. PT (ESPN) Phillies at Cardinals, Game 2 – 5:37 p.m. PT (ESPN2) Sunday, Oct. 9 *Mariners at Blue Jays, Game 3 – 11:07 a.m. PT (ABC) *Rays at Guardians, Game 3 – 1:07 p.m. PT (ESPN) *Padres at Mets, Game 3 – 4:37 p.m. PT (ESPN) *Phillies at Cardinals, Game 3 – 5:37 p.m. PT (ESPN2) Division Series Tuesday, Oct. 11 Padres or Mets at Los Angeles Dodgers, Game 1 (FOX or FS1) Phillies or Cardinals at Atlanta Braves, Game 1 (FOX or FS1) Mariners or Blue Jays at Houston Astros, Game 1 (TBS) Rays or Guardians at New York Yankees, Game 1 (TBS) Wednesday, Oct. 12 Padres or Mets at Dodgers, Game 2 (FOX or FS1) Phillies or Cardinals at Braves, Game 2 (FOX or FS1) Thursday, Oct. 13 Mariners or Blue Jays at Astros, Game 2 (TBS) Rays or Guardians at Yankees, Game 2 (TBS) Friday, Oct. 14 Dodgers at Padres or Mets, Game 3 (FS1) Braves at Phillies or Cardinals, Game 3 (FS1) Saturday, Oct. 15 *Dodgers at Padres or Mets, Game 4 (FS1) *Braves at Phillies or Cardinals, Game 4 (FS1) Astros at Mariners or Blue Jays, Game 3 (TBS) Yankees at Rays or Guardians, Game 3 (TBS) Sunday, Oct. 16 *Padres or Mets at Dodgers, Game 5 (FS1) *Phillies or Cardinals at Braves, Game 5 (FS1) *Astros at Mariners or Blue Jays, Game 4 (TBS) *Yankees at Rays or Guardians, Game 4 (TBS) Monday, Oct. 17 *Mariners or Blue Jays at Astros, Game 5 (TBS) *Rays or Guardians at Yankees, Game 5 (TBS) League Championship Series Tuesday, Oct. 18 NLCS Game 1 (FOX or FS1) Wednesday, Oct. 19 NLCS Game 2 (FOX or FS1) ALCS Game 1 (TBS) Thursday, Oct. 20 ALCS Game 2 (TBS) Friday, Oct. 21 NLCS Game 3 (FS1) Saturday, Oct. 22 ALCS Game 3 (TBS) NLCS Game 4 (FOX or FS1) Sunday, Oct. 23 *NLCS Game 5 (FS1) ALCS Game 4 (TBS) Monday, Oct. 24 *ALCS Game 5 (TBS) *NLCS Game 6 (FS1) Tuesday, Oct. 25 *ALCS Game 6 (TBS) *NLCS Game 7 (FOX and FS1) Wednesday, Oct. 26 *ALCS Game 7 (TBS) World Series Friday, Oct. 28 Game 1 (FOX) Saturday, Oct. 29 Game 2 (FOX) Monday, Oct. 31 Game 3 (FOX) Tuesday, Nov. 1 Game 4 (FOX) Wednesday, Nov. 2 *Game 5 (FOX) Friday, Nov. 4 *Game 6 (FOX) Saturday, Nov. 5 *Game 7 (FOX) *if necessary Are you following Dodger Blue on Instagram?
