Another mixed bag of a week for New York leaves us with plenty to question.

The Yankees have had quite a week — it started out in poor shape losing three of four to the Orioles and narrowly ceding the division lead, but rebounded with a series sweep of a solid Tigers team. The flaws in this roster continue to pop up on the offensive side: they couldn't score more than two runs a game in Baltimore, nearly got shutout in their opener against Detroit, and often have shown an inability to string consecutive innings of offense together, scoring in one big bunch and then powering down instead.

So where does that leave us? The offense is at least seeing some different contributors at the top now, with Anthony Rizzo and Aaron Judge having strong performances after cold starts while Juan Soto and Anthony Volpe have cooled off to varying degrees. Will the offense ever click and get hot at the same time? Can we expect the bullpen to stay fresh when they're forced into so many close games? How would DJ LeMahieu's return influence the team? If you've got questions like these, or anything else on your mind, send 'em in for a chance to be featured in our Yankees mailbag.

Answers will run on Friday afternoon. All questions received by the night of May 9th will be considered. You can leave your submissions in the comment section below or by e-mail to pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail [dot] com.
