Early-season prospect update; CC inducted to the Guardians Hall of Fame; Boone talks lineup change; Verdugo back with Yanks

MLB.com | Mandy Bell: The awards and honors are starting to come for CC Sabathia. The Cleveland Guardians have announced he will be the newest member of their organization's Hall of Fame. In the beginning of August, Sabathia will be welcomed back to Progressive Field for a ceremony in his honor and a nice bobblehead to go along with it. A Yankees Monument Park plaque and Hall of Fame induction are likely next on the agenda for the left-hander. (He'll be eligible for the latter next cycle.)

Baseball America ($): It's early in the major-league season, but even a smidge earlier in the minor-league one. Yet, that hasn't stopped prospect evaluators from making adjustments to their rankings. After a few weeks of play, it's still possible to draw some new conclusions about where players stand. Yankees' prospects haven't necessarily shifted much, but here's where they stand: Jasson Domínguez (#17), Spencer Jones (#31), Austin Wells (#59), Roderick Arias (#94), George Lombard Jr. (#99).

CBS Sports | Matt Snyder: Most Yankees' fans had high expectations for Aaron Judge in Baltimore after it looked like he had finally rounded into form against Milwaukee. However, he struggled to make hard contact, or really just any contact at all. That prompted some to think a lineup change could help Judge, and Aaron Boone suggested the same. However, it doesn't seem like a swap is any sure thing:

Lastly, Alex Verdugo is back with the Yankees after he and his longtime girlfriend welcomed their third child together. Third-string catcher Carlos Narváez returned to the minors; he didn't appear in a game during his stint with New York from Monday to Wednesday. Verdugo went 1-for-4 with a walk in his return to the lineup.
