A weekend in Wisconsin.
The Yankees had a late night in Milwaukee, and it did not end well. They opened this road trip with a frustrating extra-inning loss to the Brewers. If it feels like they've lost a whole bunch of extra-inning games like this, you're not imagining things: they're 3-15 in road extra-inning games since 2022. They've had much better luck in extra-inning affairs at home, but still, that's a pretty poor run of fortune with the Manfred Man.
The Yankees will look to bounce back tonight, and we'll have a full day on the site before then. In the morning, Estevão will write up the results from this week's SB Nation reacts surveys, and I'll get you up to speed with a recap of last night's AL action. Later, Sam gives us the latest chapter in the 1999 Yankees diary, while Nick Ahles starts to look ahead to the 2024 MLB Draft, and Peter analyzes what he'd like to see from Nestor Cortes going forward.
