Hope springs eternal in the new year.

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across Major League Baseball. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in New York Yankees fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

In just a few weeks, pitchers and catchers will report to Yankees camp in Tampa for spring training. It won't be long after that before Opening Day arrives on March 27th.

So now that we're almost a month into the new year, how about a pre-camp pulse check on the young Yankees who you're most hopeful to see excel in 2025? We've included four players to choose from. There's 2024 American League Rookie of the Year pitcher Luis Gil, catcher and third-place finisher Austin Wells, 2025 Rookie of the Year hopeful Jasson Domínguez, and 23-year-old shortstop Anthony Volpe, who is entering his third year but has still mostly just tantalized with his talent at the plate (though his defensive acumen is unquestioned).

Make your pick and we'll check out the results in a few days.
