It's the final Pens Points of the season as the Penguins head to Long Island for a meaningless Game 82.

For the second straight season, the Pittsburgh Penguins will play a meaningless final game of the season after being eliminated from Stanley Cup Playoff contention on Tuesday night. With the Washington Capitals victory over the Philadelphia Flyers, the Penguins were locked out of the postseason for a second straight season. They will now wrap up their 2023-24 campaign on Long Island in a meaningless contest with the New York Islanders.-

Regardless if the Penguins got the help they needed or not last night, the team only has itself to blame for being in this position in the first place due to constant self inflicted wounds. [Pensburgh]
