'You're a coward' – New footage emerges of Dillian Whyte raging at comeback opponent after knockout win

Dillian Whyte was fuming with Christian Hammer after their fight last weekend.

The ‘Body Snatcher’ returned and stopped his gatekeeper opponent after just three rounds, making him quit on his stool in the corner before the start of the fourth.

However, he was far from happy with the result.

Whyte hadn’t fought since November 2022, having seen his rematch with Anthony Joshua cancelled due to a failed drugs test last year.

After being cleared to return to the ring, he took a short notice return fight in Castlebar, Ireland.

The bout didn’t even have a live broadcaster, hence why footage is only now emerging.

Whyte began the contest on top, working the body well as he took control of proceedings early on and worked away any ring rust.

His success continued as he began to switch from body to head in the second, with Hammer clearly already feeling the pace after just six minutes.

In the third, Whyte opened up and landed more punishing shots on his rival.

At this point, Hammer decided he’d seen enough and the contest was waved off in between rounds.

Whyte branded Hammer a ‘coward’

Whyte was furious and branded him a ‘coward’ multiple times, before saying: “Why didn’t you fight? I used to respect you.”

Whyte then said in his post-fight interview: "He was negative all the way through. As soon as I hit him he was negative. I told him afterwards he was a coward and I mean that."

"I’m so frustrated. I've put so much work into preparing for this fight and to have him quit after just three rounds is so frustrating.

“I told him afterwards in the ring that I always respected him but tonight he was a coward."
