WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships Renamed – New Titles Debut

The WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships have a new name.

On this week’s episode of SmackDown, WWE CCO Triple H came to the ring to present the newly-named WWE Tag Team Championships to A-Town Down Under.

At WrestleMania 40, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller won the SmackDown Tag Team Championships in a Six-Pack Ladder Match that saw both sets of Tag Team Titles on the line.

Awesome Truth, who won the RAW Tag Team Championships in the same match, were presented the new WWE World Tag Team Championships on Monday’s episode of RAW.
